The Heart Behind Pipers Petals

This itty bitty flower farm of mine is a labor of love, inspired by my best friend and loyal companion, Piper. Every bloom here is nurtured with the same care and affection that Piper showed me every day during our 13 years together. 🩷 At Piper Petals, I don’t just grow flowers—I grow memories, traditions, and a connection to my roots.

I am a 4th-generation dahlia grower, and my passion for these beautiful blooms started when I was a child, helping my great-grandma in her flower gardens. My very first dahlia that I grew on my own was American Dawn, a variety passed down from her garden to mine. When she passed away, I was fortunate to receive some of her dahlias, which I continue to grow and nurture. My mom and two grandmas have continued to teach me over the years, passing on their knowledge, and now I carry that tradition forward with pride.

At Piper Petals, we offer dahlia tubers and hand-picked seasonal bouquets in the Summer. Each arrangement is unique, just like Piper was, and is crafted to bring joy and beauty into your life—just as she did for me. Every bloom comes from my years of experience, and I take great care to ensure that the flowers are as healthy and vibrant as possible. I sanitize all my tools, carefully inspect every plant, and cull any that show signs of illness. I take great pride in maintaining clean stock and healthy plants, knowing that quality matters in every petal.

As the seasons change, we also offer dahlia tubers in the Winter, so you can grow a little bit of Piper's farm and beauty from home. Though our farm may be small, the love and care that go into it are big.
